I’m a 50-something Canadian prairie girl, long ago decamped to Europe and now primarily based in the UK. I’m a professional private chef and passionate dog-training instructor/advocate. I also had the good fortune to study European History and Art History with the wonderful Open University.
I’ve lived and worked all over the western world, including much of the US and Canada, the UK (Devon, Wales, Scotland, Norfolk and most recently, London), France (Burgundy, Provence and the Cap Ferret) and Austria (Unterach Am Attersee near Salzburg). My last cooking gig was in a very senior British royal household (I’ll leave it to your imaginations). I’m a shameless camper van geek but find my greatest joy and freedom on long-distance bike tours with my little dog Murph.
